CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

FILLING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Dream Whip, prepared as directed on pkg.

TOPPING:

1 can cherry pie filling

Combine first 4 ingredients and pat into 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 350. Cool. Break apart with a fork to a crumbly consistency.

Filling: Beat the softened cream cheese, vanilla and sugar with a mixer until fluffy. Fold in prepared Dream Whip and spread over crumb mixture. Cover with cherries. Chill overnight. Serves 12.
