CHERRIES IN THE SNOW 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
1 can cherry pie filling

Combine flour, butter, brown sugar and nuts in bowl; mix well. Spread in 8 inch square pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes; cool. Crumble in 9 x 13 inch pan.

Blend cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and vanilla in large bowl. Fold whipped cream into cheese mixture. Spoon over crumbled crust. Top with the cherry pie filling. Freeze overnight.
