CORN MEAL SALMON PATTIES 
1 (14 oz.) can of salmon
1/2 lg. onion, chopped
1 beaten egg or 1/4 c. egg beaters
3/4 c. bread crumbs
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of paprika
1 c. of corn meal
1/2 c. of corn oil

Drain half of the liquid from the salmon. Empty other half of the liquid and salmon into a bowl. Place all ingredients except corn meal and oil in with the salmon. Mix well. Make into medium size patties. Heat oil in fry pan until hot. Roll patties in corn meal and place in oil. Brown lightly on both sides. Drain patties. Serve immediately.
