RIO GRANDE PORK ROAST 
4 - 5 lb. pork roast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Combine spices and rub into roast. Bake in a 325 degree oven, uncovered, for 2 to 2 1/2 hours (or use oven cooking bag to retain moisture, but reduce cooking time).

GLAZE:

1/2 c. apple jelly
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. chili powder

Pour over roast and return to oven for 15 minutes longer.
