Batter for Onion Rings or Any Vegetables

I tried this recipe and it came out way too loose. I would add at least a tablespoon or two more of flour to thicken it and it could definitely use a little more salt.

I made this recipe today and added two tablespoons of flour, doubled the salt and I didn't add oil to the batter mix. My onion rings came out beautifully.

This recipe was good but it didn't fry up as crunchy as my husband likes so I added a teaspoon of baking powder. Nice and crunchy after that.
