SWEDISH SHORTBREAD BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter with sugar, then add flour. Flatten in jelly roll pan and press in. Spread soft jelly on top. Bake 25 minutes in 300 degree oven.

While still warm, spread with glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar with 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Add enough warm water to drizzle.
