CHOCOLATE - LIME CAKE WITH MINT
GLAZE
 
1 pkg. devils food cake mix
1/2 gal. lime sherbet
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
Mint flavoring to taste

Prepare cake mix. Bake in two 8 inch round pans. When cool, cut each layer horizontally in half. Layer cake and lime sherbet ice cream ending with cake. Freeze until firm.

MINT GLAZE:

Melt chocolate chips, butter, milk and corn syrup. Add mint flavoring. Spread on cake. Freeze until firm. Wrap securely. Let sit at room temperature a few minutes before, trying to cut.
