1 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 heaping tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. lard 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. sour cream 1 sm. egg, beaten Sift dry ingredients into bowl, add butter and lard and mix as for pie crust. Add cream and egg. Spread into bottom and sides of tin larger than regular coffee cake pan, greased. FILLING: 1/2 c. sour cream 1 c. sugar 1 qt. berries 1 tbsp. flour 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 tsp. salt Put berries in crust, pour custard over, and bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until crust is set. Any kind of fruit can be used. |
