BERVA'S APPLE KUCHEN 
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
6-8 peeled & quartered apples
1/8-1/4 c. sugar/cinnamon mixture
3 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 4 ingredients. Cut in butter. Make a hole and add milk and mix with fork, leaving it lumpy. Press into greased square or round pan. Top with apples. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and dot with butter. Bake 25-30 minutes. Dough will be brown and apples soft.
