MARIE'S POUND CAKE 
3 c. cake flour, sifted
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. milk
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream softened butter and shortening. Add sugar, mixing thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and milk (a little at a time, starting and ending with flour.) Add flavorings. Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
