CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 c. raw rice
1 cut up chicken fryer
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Place rice in bottom of greased 3 quart casserole. Lay pieces of one cut up fryer on rice. Sprinkle with 1 package dry onion soup mix. Combine 1 can soup with 2 cups milk and salt and pepper (sparingly). Pour over chicken and cover with foil for first half of baking time. Bake uncovered for second half. Total baking time 2 1/4 hours in 300 degree oven.
