PEACH PIE WITH BROWN SUGAR
TOPPING
 
3/4 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour or 1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 unbaked pie shell
Sliced fresh peaches
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Fill unbaked pie shell with fresh, sliced peaches which have been mixed with sugar, flour and cinnamon.

Topping: Mix the 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup flour. Mix brown sugar and flour; cut in butter and shortening until mixture is like meal. Sprinkle mixture over peaches. Sprinkle pecans over all. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until brown.
