PEANUT BUTTER BEARS | |
2 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. softened butter 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1 lg. egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. peanut butter 12 oz. milk chocolate chips Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in bowl. In mixer bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in egg, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients until combined. Divide dough into quarters; wrap and chill 4 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Roll quarter of dough between 2 sheets of wax paper, keep remaining dough chilled. Cut with 3 inch bear cookie cutter. Cook 8-9 minutes until edges are brown. Melt 12 ounce package of milk chocolate chips. Frost and decorate as desired. Makes 3 dozen cookies. |
