MAMIE EISENHOWER FUDGE 
1 can Pet milk (14 oz.)
4 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
4 sq. chocolate
1 block German sweet chocolate
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme

Put milk, sugar, salt and butter together in saucepan. Stir until sugar is thoroughly dampened. Cook on medium heat, stirring all the time for 6 minutes after it begins to boil.

In a large bowl put all chocolate (cut up in squares), marshmallow creme and vanilla. Pour hot mixture in bowl over this. Stir until melted. Add nuts if desired. Pour into buttered pan (13 x 17 inch) or smaller. Let cool. Cut into squares.
