MOIST COCONUT CAKE 
1 yellow or white Duncan Hines cake
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
Cool Whip
2 c. coconut

Mix cake as directed. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool 15 minutes. Punch full of holes with utility fork. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/2 cup coconut and boil 1 minute. Spoon while hot over cake, allowing liquid to soak into cake. Cool completely. Fold 1/2 cup coconut into Cool Whip and spread on cake. Sprinkle 1 cup coconut on top. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Keep leftovers in refrigerator.
