BOSTON CREAM PIE (FOR 25) 
Make 5 layers of cake using your favorite yellow cake mix. Split each layer.

CUSTARD CREAM FILLING:

15 tbsp. flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
5 c. milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Add milk and eggs. Place over boiling water; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool; add vanilla.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 1/4 c. butter
6 1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
7 sq. melted chocolate
1 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter; gradually add sugar; cream well. Add eggs, and mix thoroughly. Blend in chocolate and vanilla. Beat to spreading consistency. Thin with milk if necessary.
