PECAN FINGERS | |
1 c. butter 1/4 c. powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. water 2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted 2 c. pecans, grated or finely chopped Powdered sugar for rolling Cream butter; blend in sugar, salt, vanilla and water. Add flour and pecans; mix well. Chill. Shape into finger-like strips using level teaspoonfuls of dough. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar about 10 to 15 minutes later. Should make 10 dozen. |
