APPLE STRUDEL 
1 1/2 stick butter
1 c. sweet milk
2 egg yolks
3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
4-5 sliced apples
3/4 c. raisins
2 c. coarsely crushed vanilla wafers
3/4 c. coconut
1 tsp. cinnamon
Sugar to taste
3/4 stick butter

Melt butter, add milk. Mix well. Add egg yolks and beat. Add flour, mixing with hands. Chill in refrigerator for at least 5 hours.

FILLING:

Mix pecans, apples, raisins, coconut, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla wafers. Roll dough out and spread with butter and filling. Roll up as a jelly roll and place on a cookie sheet. Score the top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Brush with butter.
