CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
3 lbs. chicken, cut up
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks of celery, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Water to cover chicken
1 tbsp. flour
Carrots and potatoes, if desired

Chicken: Cook chicken with all ingredients until tender. Remove meat from bones. Return to pot.

DUMPLINGS:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. water or milk

Dumplings: Combine all ingredients to form stiff dough. Drop by the spoonful into boiling water. Cook for 15 minutes.
