BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES 
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. water
1/3 c. Wesson oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine in mixing bowl cream cheese, egg, salt, sugar and chocolate chips. Sift in mixing bowl 1 1/2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup cocoa and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Add 1 cup water, 1/3 cup Wesson oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until well blended.

Fill muffin cups lined with paper baking cups 1/3 with chocolate batter. Top each one with 1 heaping teaspoon cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
