1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt

Beat cheese, egg, sugar and salt. Then add chips; set aside. Mix cake mix following directions. Fill muffin cups 1/3 full. Add generous teaspoons first mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
