1 c. flour, sifted
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 lb. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. nuts

Mix the 1 cup flour, sifted, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1/4 pound melted butter in 8x8 inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees.

Mix the 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 cup nuts and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and pour on top of mix and bake 25 minutes at 375 degrees. Cut in squares.
