PECAN PIE COOKIES 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. quick oats
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs
3/4 c. corn syrup
1 c. broken pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. flour

Mix together flour, oats, butter and brown sugar until fine particles are formed. Press into well-greased 9x9 inch baking pan; bake for 15 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven.

Meanwhile, beat together eggs, corn syrup, pecans, vanilla, salt and 1 tablespoon flour. Pour over the baked crust and bake for 25 to 30 minutes more. Let cool in pan and cut into bars. Recipe may also be easily doubled and bake in jelly roll pan.
