MARIE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 sticks real butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Beat butter, salt, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar and the egg; add flour a little at a time. Fold in nuts and chips. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet and bake at 330 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
