BARBECUED BEEF 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chuck roast
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. catsup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 c. water

Put beef in roaster. Add celery and onion. Combine rest of ingredients and pour over chuck roast. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 4 hours until tender. Remove meat; and while warm remove any fat and bones and shred meat with forks. Makes about 15 to 20 buffet bun sized sandwiches. Freezes very well. Serves 6 to 8.
