BARBECUED MEAT BALLS 
2 slices crumbled bread
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Little pepper
1 lb. lean ground beef

TOPPING:

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper

SAUCE:

1/2 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1-1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. sugar

Either the night before or a few hours before meal time, mix bread, milk, salt, pepper and meat together. Form into golf size pieces. Place in rectangular dish (6 x 9 inch). Refrigerate until cooking time. Sprinkle topping over meatballs. Mix sauce pour over meatballs, onions and peppers. Bake at 350 degrees until done, 1 to 1-1/4 hours. Serve over wide noodles cooked according to package directions. Serves 4 as a main dish. Add a salad and you have a meal. For more sauce and or meatballs, double everything except the 1/2 cup water in sauce.
