BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. beef sirloin or round steak
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
1 onion, finely chopped
1 c. water
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sour cream
Noodles

Cut meat into strips. Melt butter in skillet. Add onions and mushrooms and cook until tender. Remove. In same skillet, brown meat. Stir in one cup water, bouillon, ketchup, garlic and salt. Simmer until tender. Add extra water if necessary. Cook and drain noodles while meat simmers. Mix 1/2 cup water with flour. Mix well and stir into meat mixture. Add onions and mushrooms. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over noodles.
