FRENCH MUFFIN DONUTS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 c. melted butter 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. milk 1 beaten egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cinnamon Sift flour with 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Combine milk, egg, 1/3 cup melted butter and vanilla. Add liquid ingredients to flour mixture, stirring only until all ingredients are moistened. Fill ungreased muffin pans 1/2 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from pan immediately. Brush with melted butter and roll in remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Makes 12. |
