PIGS IN THE BLANKET 
1 lb. hamburger
15-20 cabbage leaves (slightly cooked)
1 c. rice
2 c. tomatoes
2 sm. onions, diced
1 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. salt
Pepper

Cook rice 10 minutes. Mix with hamburger, 1 onion, salt and pepper. Melt shortening, add 1 diced onion and tomatoes. Roll 1 good tbsp. of hamburger mixture in cabbage leaves until hamburger is all used. Lay in tomatoes. Cover with remaining cabbage (chopped). Cover and let simmer for 2 or 3 hours.
