MELTING MOMENTS 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. finely cut dates
2 c. corn flakes

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, then the rest of the ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
