ORIENTAL FLAVORED TORTILLA
ROLL-UPS
 
flour tortillas
thin slices of sauteed onions
thin strips of sauteed red bell peppers
Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
ripe avocado slices
toasted sesame seeds
teriyaki sauce
salt to taste

No quantities are given for this recipe because all will depend on the tortilla size and each personal liking.

Sauté the thin slices of onions and strips of red bell peppers adding some salt in any light until they are very soft. If you can't find toasted sesame seeds, you can easily toast them into a pan. Or use just plain seeds!Prepare the avocado slices and leave the cream cheese at room temperature to soften it.

Assemble the tortillas putting a layer of cream cheese and adding all the other ingredients in such a way that the tortilla will be easily rolled-up. You can achieve this by putting all the ingredients across the center of each tortilla.

Add some salt and a good quantity of sesame seeds, then distribute drops of teriyaki sauce over the ingredients and roll up each tortilla. Instead of holding them with a toothpick, I wrap each of them into a paper napkin and serve immediately. I also prefer to heat each tortilla over a hot plate before assembling it. After you try your first tortilla, you will decide on the quantity of each ingredient.

We serve each ingredient separately and everybody in the family assembles them as per their personal liking.
