YORKSHIRE PUDDING | |
2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. drippings or oil Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Beat eggs and milk together. Sift flour and salt together. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Beat batter until well blended. Pour oil or drippings into baking pan (11 x 7 or 9 x 9 x 2 inch) or large iron skillet. Heat skillet or pan until very hot. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until puffy and brown. Makes 4-6 servings. Serve with roast beef and gravy. |
