CARAMEL POPCORN 
3 qt. popped Planters premium select natural or buttered flavor popcorn
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popcorn (popped kernels only) in large roasting pan. In heavy 1 1/2 quart saucepan, stir sugar, butter, and corn syrup. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat, without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn, stirring to coat well. Bake at 250 degrees. Stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour.

Remove from oven. For best results put popcorn in brown bag and pour mixture over it, then place in oven or microwave 250 degrees for oven or 30 seconds for microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
