KENTUCKY HI-DAY PIE 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 tbsp. bourbon
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz.)
Unbaked 9 inch pastry shell

In a small bowl gradually add sugar to beaten eggs. Add melted butter and bourbon. Mix well. Blend in cornstarch. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into an unbaked 9 inch pastry shell.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool for 1 hour. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream. This pie also freezes well. Reheat at 300 degrees for 35 minutes.
