2 c. butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten with 1/4 c. milk
4 tsp. vanilla
2-3 tbsp. nutmeg
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter; add next 4 ingredients to butter; blend well. Chill 2 hours. Bake on ungreased pan at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Roll out, use cookie cutters. Yield: 15 dozen.
