2 lbs. ground beef 2 cloves garlic 1 lb. big macaroni (shell or bow) 1 lg. can tomatoes 1 or 2 cans tomato sauce 1 pt. drained olives 2 lg. onions 1 can whole kernel corn 1 can pimientos 1 can peas 1 lb. cheddar cheese Cook and drain macaroni. Hold under cold water a few seconds. Drain again while preparing other ingredients. Mince onions and garlic. Add to meat and fry until partially done. Combine meat, vegetable, corn juice and all and macaroni. Salt to taste. Put alternate layers of mixture and shredded cheese in large pan ending with cheese on top. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until it bubbles up. |
