AU GRATIN POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 c. half & half
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Season salt

Cook potatoes in boiling water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well. In medium saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, salt, and pepper. Cook 2 minutes until thick and bubbly. Add half & half; cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Add cheese, stirring constantly, until cheese melts. Place potatoes in a lightly greased 2 quart baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes. Sprinkle with season salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Yield: 6-8 servings.
