MARY'S GLAZED APPLE LOAF 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. finely chopped apples
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together butter, vanilla and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add milk and apples. Blend together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix well and place in a 9"x5" sprayed loaf pan. Bake one hour at 350 degrees. Cool and glaze (see below).

APPLE LOAF GLAZE:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. softened butter
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over loaf.
