MAPLE BREAD 
3 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. white flour
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. baking soda
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. sour milk
1 c. real maple syrup
1 c. nuts, chopped fine

MAPLE BUTTER:

1 c. pure maple syrup
3/4 c. melted butter

Mix all together thoroughly. Bake in 2 well greased pans at 350 degrees for 45- 60 minutes. Try serving it with maple butter: Cook syrup until a little forms a soft ball in cold water. Add butter and beat with rotary beater until thick and creamy. Serve warm on hot gingerbread, waffles, or biscuits.
