1 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 eggs
2 c. flour (minus 1 tbsp.)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chocolate chips or M&M'S®
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla, water and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add nuts and chocolate. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on top rack of oven for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. 3 dozen.
