MUSHROOM BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
12 slices trimmed bread
1 lb. Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 lb. diced bacon or sausage, pre-cooked
3 c. milk
2 cans sliced mushrooms, bits and pieces is OK

TOPPING (mix together) :

3 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. melted butter

Beat eggs, milk, and mustard together. Layer in 9 x 13 inch casserole first bread, then cheese, bacon-sausage, and mushrooms. Then another layer of bread. Pour egg mixture over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking sprinkle topping over all. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour or until set. Serves 10-12.
