ANISETTE SLICES 
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 or 4 tsp. Anisette flavor
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into loaves. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Slice, when cold.

FROSTING:

Soften a little butter, add sifted confectioners' sugar, add anise flavoring, a little milk to make consistency you desire. Sprinkle with colored jimmies or whatever you prefer.
