3 c. fresh or canned peaches (slice and not peeled)
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. mace
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar

Mix batter. Melt butter in pan; swirl around the coat all bottom of baking pan. Pour flour mixture over that, then add peaches on top. Bake at 350 to 400 degrees until brown all over.
