CHEX CASSEROLE 
3 c. rice or corn Chex cereal
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. onions
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 to 1 c. Cheez Whiz
1/8 tsp. garlic
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1 pkg. frozen broccoli

Melt butter in saucepan. Remove 3 tablespoons of butter and toss with Chex cereal. Set Chex cereal aside. Saute onions in remaining butter. Add soup, Cheez Whiz and garlic to onions. Heat and stir until cheese is melted and smooth.

Remove from heat. Stir in almonds, broccoli and 1 cup of Chex cereal. Spread in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Crush remaining Chex and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until toasted.
