PECAN PRALINES 
1 (1 lb.) box brown sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk (Carnation)
2 cups pecans, chopped
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter

Mix sugar, milk and pecans; cook to soft ball stage over medium heat (234-240°F on candy thermometer).

Remove from heat. Add vanilla and butter; stir until butter melts and candy begins to thicken. Spoon into paper cups.

Cooks Note: Use of a candy thermometer is recommended.

Makes 18 servings.
