GERMAN KUCHEN 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Divide mixture in half. To one half add 2 tbsp. milk and pat into bottom of 9x12 inch ungreased pan (flour your hands first!). Fill with 1 can pie filling.

With remaining dough (more than half) add 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar. Crumble with spoon. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake 1/2 hour at 325 (glass pan) -350 degrees. Cool. Cut into 2 inch squares and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
