SOURDOUGH ROLLS
5 c. self-rising flour
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. melted shortening
2 pkgs. dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water

Mix as you do for light rolls. These do not need to set to rise. Pinch off and flatten as for biscuits and bake at 400 degrees until brown. Makes about 30 rolls or biscuits. What you don't use, cover with Saran Wrap and put in refrigerator. Use as desired.
