Crock Pot London Broil

Just made this for the second time. Tried it first with "london broil" aka round from the market. Cooked for about 6 hours. Chuck was on sale so I got a 3 pounder. I was a bit concerned at first because I checked at 4 hours and 30 minutes and the meat was really tough, my cooker is usually a bit on the fast side. Waited till 7 hours total cooking time passed and it came out perfect. Using entire packets is a bit much,it's more sodium than we are use to since we try to be healthy but this one is a keeper! I will use less of the ranch and italian dressing mix next time. Will let you health conscious eaters know how it goes.

A-Ma-Zing!! I was a little skeptical, but we tried it. So simple, but yet so good. As my husband said, "It's a keeper!!"

To those trying recipe. When you buy the dry Italian Dressing mix... always watch and try to get the "regular", as the "zesty" mix - changes up the flavor quite a bit.

Read the reviews, thought it couldn't be that good...was I ever wrong! My husband said it was stupendous and would have eaten it all if he had had room for it. It's the only way I will cook my London broils from now on. Thanks for a great recipe!

After reading all the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I do admit the gravy was far better than what my imagination would have allowed, based on the ingredients. I was disappointed in the meat after it came out. It was not as tender or juicy as I would have expected. I am a self taught chef and I wouldn't recommend this, at least not with this cut of meat. I will make it again, but will probably use pork instead.

It tasted good I was not as impressed as everyone else the flavor was not that amazing it was really easy to make that's about it. Nothing to write home about. My husband thought the same it tasted good not great.

This was by far the best crock-pot london broil I have ever made. It is so easy and the gravy is great. I seasoned my meat and browned it a little before putting in the crock-pot. This will be my new "go-to" recipe for quick and easy dinners! Thanks for sharing.

I put my meat in the crock pot last night...well this morning around 1am. How long does everyone let it cook? I checked it around 6:30am and still seemed a little rough. It's about 3.5 lbs, so I'm thinking it needs to go longer. Any recommendations? Also, I didn't have the Italian dressing mix so I used onion/mushroom soup mix. I can't wait to try it, it smells amazing!!!

I made this with ranch DIP mix (instead of dressing mix) because the store was out of the dressing mix. It's actually even better tasing with the dip mix! Very good both ways.
