We had NO leftovers! The meat was SO tender, I served with the traditional mashed potatoes and corn. I was instructed to double the recipe next time. Well, I am going to try it with a chuck roast instead, and see how well this recipe does.

I can't wait to have this meal again!

I made this and loved it! Did you ever try it with a Chuck Roast? How did it turn out? Just happened to have one in the freezer (3 lb.) ~ Thank you!

Very simple very great. Doing it for the second time tonight. I add some beef broth in place of some of the water and a tbsp of "Better then Bullion" just to get the beef flavor up a bit. But other than that it does make a real nice gravy with a bit of an exotic flavor. Very nice simple recipe, which is very nice for our hectic times. Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and some rolls and vegie. Life is good. Thank you for an alternative to my other recipes. Choice is good.

I guess I'm the only one who it didn't work out for but I had a 5 lb roast and turned it on low at 4:30 am and checked it at 10:45 and it was already overcooked and tough. I guess I needed size of meat and exact time. Oh well. Glad it was tasty for others....

I look forward to trying this recipe. What if I wanted to add carrots, onions, mushrooms and potato to the crock pot, would that work with the slow over night cook? Or would the veggies get to soggy?

Wonderful - My family loves it. I add a little onion and pepper but I do that with everything. The Gravy is great over mashed potatoes.. My daughter (the picky one) loves it and my son says it's Epic! Thank you Phyllis!

Too darn easy! How could something that took 5 seconds to prepare taste so good? Can I get away with serving this once a week? Probably so. Easier than opening a can of speghettios or making grilled cheese. So dayum goood!

This recipe really was to die for! It's was delicious and very easy to make. Many comments suggested mashed potatoes as a side... GOOD IDEA :) The gravy goes well with it. I have also used the small red potatoes which was also delicious! Thanks for the great recipe :)

This is the BEST gravy I have ever tasted! I didn't have a package of brown gravy but I had one for au jus. Since one of my sons had to go to work when I got home from work and I wouldn't have time to make mashed potatoes, I put a whole bag of frozen stew vegetables (cut up big pieces) under the london broil. OMG! I will definitely make this again and again!
