NO BAKE COOKIES FOR MICROWAVE
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick oats

Microwave butter, milk, cocoa and sugar in large bowl on high for 3 minutes. Stir, microwave for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, stir until melted. Add oats and stir. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet covered with waxed paper. Refrigerate until cool. Makes 24 large cookies. This one is easy enough for kids to do.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Question about this... My son wants peanut butter no bake cookies. Can I just leave the cocoa out and have it come out good?

Me and my friend were bored and wanted something sweet to eat we left out the oats and put the peanut butter in early and I think it tasted better especially since I added more sugar your right kids can do it we made it better than my dad did and were only 13! Love, Kerstin and Kara

I have made these using Hersheys Special Dark Cocoa and chunky peanut butter. Soooooo Yummmy.

I do have a question.. These are my husband's favorite cookie. How would I adjust the microwave time in order to double the batch? Do I just double the microwave time too?
Hubby wants to take some to work for the breakroom.

Great recipe! The cookies taste exactly like the ones I make on the stove, but in about a tenth of the time and without having to turn on the stove.

I did end up using about 4 cups of oatmeal, but I wouldn't call that a flaw in the recipe; that's more about my own preference for this type of cookie. I like a lot of oats.

Thank you for posting this! It's my new go-to for no-bake cookies!

Delicious! Such a yummy and easy treat. We added a few extra oats since it seemed a bit runny.
